    Greetings from new member

    Hi everyone,

I joined the forum late last year and really enjoyed the content here for the past few months. However, this is just my first post (apologies!) - I'd like to introduce myself.

I've always loved watches as my grandfather used to be a watchmaker. My current collection includes brands from Omega, Universal Geneve, Casio, Tudor and Seiko etc..

Here's my De Ville from the 2000s

Looking forward to getting involved & learning more here:)

Loving the strap. I would never have put it with the watch, but it goes really well.

Thank you all for the positive comments. The Omega came with a SS bracelet originally - but I much prefer the strap (got it from watchobsession).

    Welcome the the forum .

I like the Omega and especially on that strap but I think you should have bought one that is 1mm wider; the Seiko is also very nice. Now, hurry up and let's have a picture of the UG .
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Good eye... it's one of those awkward 19 mm lugs and this particular strap only come in 18 or 20 mm :(

    Will do asap! (re: UG)

Welcome and what a lovely Omega. As per others, the strap is a surprising choice but a very good one!

Greetings Tommy, and cracking Omega. It was the first 'quality' watch i bought back in 2000. Remember it well, bought from Lunn's the Jeweller in Belfast whilst working at Shorts, patience was a virtue for this truly underrated watch, you bought it then had to wait 4 to 6 weeks for it to be delivered.
If only i had kept hold of it.... All the best bud

Thanks a lot Nicky.. I actually stole this from my old man. He always wore it on the bracelet that it came with which was a very different look. It's such a clean watch - and I certainly won't ever let this go:P
