Watched episode 3 today, Iíll still keep on watching. Yes the build up has been slow but I can see it picking up speed rapidly now.

Picard is now an old man and PS is playing it as such. Agree with one of the previous posters that we should expect to see the character grow and become more like we remember him from TNG.

I think this is actually the main story arc - how Picard rediscovers himself and becomes THE Jean Luc Picard once more.

Stewart is such a fine actor, I expect the journey to be compelling.
So clever my foot fell off.

Given it's already been renewed for Season 2, the producers and broadcasters must be pretty confident.

Great news! How many episodes in this series? Must be getting really good viewing figures if they are committing to series 2 with just 3 episodes aired (well, available to stream).

And also, Stewart himself must also be pretty certain it is good, because a/ he really didn't need to do it, b/ needed a lot of persuading, and c/ has pretty high standards himself.

Yes Voyager only. I'm not sure if there was anyone that hot on TNG.

Not for me, however Ashley Judd, Zoe Saldana and Famke Janssen are all in the mix for that top spot.

I don't see why not. It's not like it's going to disappear once the full series is out.

I'm sure she is, but there's always Patrick and his $80m fortune to help bridge that 38 year age gap.
