They sound amazing is my only input!
There is also a decent Audi independent near me (Northwood). When you come to buy, it might be worth dropping them a line.
Anyone had one or got direct experience of them? I am looking at a low mileage 2018 car to replace my D4 Discovery, which is used for mile munching and family/dogs transits, with little off-road. Thanks.

^^^^Indeed.
Do people actually buy a velar or an sq7 for off road use?
Seriously? Is like buying a rolex for telling the time :)
Sq7 are fantastic things. Friend had one for a year. Comfy, spacious and deceptively fast.
I’ve got a q7 the lowest power one but fully optioned , it’s a fabulous car I’ve never felt it slow and it’s smooth and comfortable . It’s my first SUV and better than I hoped . The SQ7 must be an absolute missile .

Ive got an SQ7 ( 2017 ), its looks great, it drives great but ive had nothing but problems with it !
Ive had multiple issues with an alarm sounding saying the back seats are not engaged, its been back and forward the garage 3 times.
The alarm randomly goes off during the day and night !
It completely went dead one morning and was told it was a wiring problem.
and strangest of all people who sit in the back all complain of car sickness ?????
Who knows maybe ive just been unlucky but I wouldn't buy another.
My only comment on the Q7 is they’re absolutely massive! - my wife’s best friend inherited one when her father in law passed away and she hates it - it was parked next to our XC60 on the drive (which is the biggest car I’d ever need) and looked like a Star Destroyer our of Star Wars - why would you need a car that size on UK roads? I asked her (we live in rural Norfolk where the ability to leave enough room for tractors to pass on country lanes is a daily reality). She says she spends so much time reversing it to escape exactly that kind of issue she’s convinced her husband to sell it.

I believe that they have a healthy appetite for rear tyres (as do the Touareg and Cayenne which share the platform). Well, that's what the Internet says, anyway.
Spoke to the guy I know at dealership/service side - says has seen monster warranty claims - and wouldn't recommend based on the issues he sees. Warranty work is frustrating and eventually folk just get rid were his words.
Wait for the new Defender....
