    Lion king theatre

Anyone watched the show to advice on seating arrangements?
Do you actually see anything on the £80 seats?
    Cheers

I took my family years ago and thought it was pretty poor. The kids were in the range of 12- 16 and we had a family bbq last week and they remembered it as being bad. They are now 21 - 29. I guess it may have changed.

Sorry, others may of found it great but that was my experience.

Went with our kids a couple of years ago, didn't have top seats but thought it was very good and the cost was acceptable.

I went with work, cheap seats as far to the back as you could get, view was ok, might have said different if I’d paid! One thing I do remember is it was hot,so hot at the back, unbearable in fact. I was looking the other day and it’s stupid the prices now.

The best seat are the most expensive but I guess that supply and demand these days.

The staging and costumes are great. I thought the songs/music were dire - and I have reasonably broad tastes!

We went last year for my daughters 5th birthday, she loved it. We were 7-8ish from the front on the aisle end so when all the animals came down the aisle she could see. But boy do you pay and these weren’t top seats at £130 ish from memory. Was it worth it? yes and she would love to go again, but this year I can only stretch to see the new film at the cinema if she is lucky.

For a little bit more you can hire a couple of ‘actors’ in animal suits to perform in front of you if you wish and spare yourself trip to the theatre.
