    Thanks for sharing itís a nice story.
    Most of the ex squadies that work for me have similar items that they will not part with. (In one case itís a pair of RM socks - he wonít throw them away, they are now more hole than sock but they get worn every time they are clean)
    Fully understandable really, you go through hell, you have limited personal affects with you whilst away so small items take on a greater meaning.
    Marathons are great watches, very robust good looking and not often seen out and about. The 12 hour bezel is a rare one.
    My MSAR is away with Marathon currently for a service and their customer service is perfect so far.
