    Tag Heuer 1000

First post and my first watch is on order.

I’ve just bout a tag 1000 series from an American bloke on Instagram as jkbenn02 who refurbs them back to former glory

    Anyone else have a 1000?

Nope, but please show us some pictures of the watch you've ordered and welcome to the forum!

TAG 1000 is a classic look and I for one would be interested in seeing the outcome.

I have several of that “family”, late Heuer branded and early TH, both midsize and full-size. These are much underrated watches that are now rightly becoming more desirable to collectors.

If you’re up for a game of “show me yours and I’ll show you mine” I’ll dig a couple of mine out in the morning.

I bought one on this forum just a few weeks ago. This one's been restored and modified with a new Rhonda GMT movement, new crystal and pepsi bezel.

    Justin’s a sound guy.

Probably have around 10 of them in the household (although I’m not sure of the exact number).

My main two (both eBay rescues and self-serviced).

Going to check him out, definitely liking the old Heuer and Tags posted here so far.

Been trying to upload a pic but can't get it to work on my phone.

Here's the link if one of you could stick a pick over for me

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Serviced-Vi...app-cvip-panel

Priced a little higher than what they've been selling for but I think it's worth it for the refurbished bits and pieces

Al started a week ago when I noticed a Gucci diver in a jewellers window. Started looking online then came across a sicura diver and ended up here with the tag on order

    Vet nice watch.

Certainly better than the Gucci diver you saw I would imagine!

Never bought anything from the US, I'd be worried about getting stung at customs.

I’ve had mine close on 40 years, full lume, green face model, jkbenn02 is solid guy, lots of good rep on calibration 11 forum.
I’d post a pic but still having difficulties doing that here. Luddite me.

I had one a few days ago black face on jubilee and stupidly got rid of it for silly low money!!

Am keeping my eye out on for another one at the moment.

Very nice and welcome to the forum. That won’t be the last watch you buy once you’re in here...
