Not wearing mine today due to its unsuitability for diving, but had it on until last night.

Thanks I also still have this,I badgered my Dad to fill up in Shell stations to get the coins.
It took a while to get a full set,if I remember correct we swapped extras at school one in particular was hard to find.
I still have the extras as well but only one Apollo 11.

Lovely, I take my hat off to you and your parents for keeping these memories :-)

Edit... My wife has just informed me she has this too, she bought them some time ago, I will send her to find them :-)

I was rather fittingly 11 years old

Considering my time away in the army and time abroad at one time my stuff was stored in my van at my mums house.
It’s a miracle I’ve got so many memories still.

Its great to see, and a good memory jog for my wife, who has now found the ones she bought, I would upload a pic of them but unable to since Photobucket changed!
As you were 11 at the time, did you watch it on TV? Sadly I was barely out of nappies then :-(

Been wearing mine all week too in honour of the anniversary, and today swapped it onto the Nato from the bracelet I’ve had it on for ages.

Here it is with my signed copy of Buzz Aldrin’s latest book. I also have a piece of Apollo 11 Columbia module kapton foil currently in transit to me, cannot wait for it to arrive. Bit of a space nut, especially when it comes to Apollo. Very privileged to have met an Apollo astronaut a couple of years ago.

Wore my Ed White today. It's fitted to a modern Omega alligator and deployant strap though I do have the 7912 bracelet and No.6 end links safely stored. I've also restored the original 24 tooth flat-foot crown since this picture was taken.

Nice; but after all these years, the standard Speedy still looks best. Nasa would have rejected the other versions because of degraded readability.

I will be wearing my Speedy from the 16th-24th in celebration of the 50th anniversary, anybody here planning to do likewise?
    Cheers :-)
I absolutely am! It’s always a good time to wear a Speedmaster, but this must be one of the better ones

And Speaking about Michael Collins here’s a good fact for you.

Collins took this photo of the Lunar Module, containing Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong with Earth in the background, during the Apollo 11 mission.
He is the only human, alive or dead that isn't in the frame of this picture. Even if you were born after this picture was taken, the materials you’re made from are still on the frame of this picture.

To me this is mind blowing !

You just blew my mind with this one...excellent!

I have to say I have really enjoyed wearing my Speedy for the 8 days of the mission anniversary, it is probably the longest I have worn it in the 30 years I have had it :-)
The timekeeping is to be commended, -5.5 secs over the 8 days !

Just spotted this thread - I thought I was the only one!

We went to a music festival on Saturday, swapped to the new Bulova.
