Who would deny a nice pair, if they offered you?
Not me, for sure.

Ones old and skinny while the other ones fat and younger.
Still lovely tho.
One is nice and proportional while the others have gone throught too much surgery like the Koreans...
The one on the left, on a nice black leather strap, would look great. The grotesque fisher-price monstrosity on the right, I wouldn’t touch with a barge-pole.
The left-hand one is OK, although I prefer the tritium versions personally. The right one has all the wrong proportions, IMO, and is of no interest at all.
Both are lovely and have their own charm. Enjoy the lovely pair and ignore the noise.
I too prefer a 1675 or a 16750 to the 16710 but that is a personal preference. The modern one looks great as well.
And, Bob’s example is super.
I have had the pleasure of handling both, side by side. I am also lucky enough to own GMT masters in various versions. I can say, without doubt or hesitation that IMHO the white gold Pepsi is a work of art. It is difficult to explain why, but it just feels special. Quite simply put, the only reason I don’t have one is because I can’t afford one......
But then, even if I could afford one, I’d probably never be able to find a dealer willing to sell me one.

Both are lovely but the modern WG with the blue dial would be my pick.
I would be happy with either, both look great, congratulations.
I would do the pair on a rotation system … mum as well if she fancies completing the set?
The white gold one on the right is as good as it gets IMHO
