My first tuna (sadly stolen last year) came from Seiya who was good to deal with and very quick from his side. The watch arrived in the UK less than 48hrs later, but it then took nearly 16 days to clear customs.
I had to pay the vat so +20% and the cheaky sods also charged a handling fee for the pleasure, can't remember the exact amount but I think it was about £30
You could try the boutique in London, I also seen one a few months back in Porters (Grand Seiko agent in Glasgow) if it is still there you may be able to negotiate a price?
If you are comfortable with pre owned you could probably save yourself over a grand on list.
I brought a new Seiko diver from Seiya last week. Tax bill was £128 on a watch that cost £621 (factor in vat on anything you buy from Seiya) Even with the vat I’m fairly confident that they will be cheaper than the London boutique.
They now have DHL Express delivery option, I placed the order on Tuesday night, and the watch was on my wrist at 11am Friday.
Thank you , maybe one will pop up here for sale
