Theres a grey/black market for genuine parts, and theres aftermarket parts. Either way its foolish to leave a Rolex with a non accredited repairer, for so many reasons.

You generally get what you pay for. At this price, I don't think you're paying for a level of quality that I'd be comfortable with. I'd pass regardless of whatever nonsense Mick is spewing once again.

Rolex Seadweller 16600 - advice sought

I thought that Rolex don’t allow their accredited watchmakers to work on Seadwellers due to the pressure testing requirements?

It was my belief that they had to go to RSC for service but I could be (and usually am) wrong.

I’d leave it alone . I doubt they are Rolex watchmakers and will prob not do a good job on it. £199 is expensive as well .
