Tudor GMT - New addition to the family.

Just wanted to show off my latest acquisition.

Went to Goldsmith in Canary Wharf last month and asked them: “Would it be insane if I put myself on the waiting for the Tudor GMT?” and she said: “Absolutely not. There are 40 people on it but you can certainly try.” And so I did.

Got the call yesterday. Apparently she arrived the day before and 40 people couldn’t or wouldn’t make the call.

So I went down there, put her on the wrist and knew immediately that this is it. Had her run against the Super Ocean II for good measure and there was no comparison.

Rock solid, perfect execution. Lovely lines. Legibility. Colours. Everything was just right.

And so, here she is.

Who knows. All I know is that it was less than a month waiting time.

So maybe the market is only pretending that the watch is less available than it actually is? 🤷*♂️
