Ooh like the look of those. Will be good to see some real world photos. Pricing seems very reasonable.

Agreed, nice looking watch. Liking the 39mm size. Very tempting for the money

Guess these are modelled on the UG Evil Nina.

They do look great it's fair to say.

I ordered the blue one last night at a very reasonable £208.

I've got the DH 1972 (similar to the Porsche Orfina) too, and I've been very pleased with the quality so I'm hoping this will be the same!

Never thought I'd be tempted by a Dan Henry(mainly for the reason than I seriously dislike the name), but I am seriously tempted here.

Would be a tough choice between the panda and reverse panda. I'm thinking probably Evil Nina.....

Could never buy a vanity project watch. Now if he'd made a sterile dial version...

Such a shame that this, like most modern chronographs, is so chunky ... those of yesteryear were much more streamlined and cuff/doorframe friendly ... :-)

It was hard to choose between the Panda and the Evil Panda, but went for the Panda in the end.
Will post a pic when it arrives!

In all these years it’s the first time I had heard the term Evil Panda

I'm nervous about anything that could lead to more people becoming interested in UG but I can see why this one might be popular.

I don't like, however, the way they've allowed some Paul Newman fonts to creep in on the sub-dials.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

haha, i know, technically it's reverse panda, but Dan Henry calls them Evil Panda...a term which I think is amazing.

That white dial might just satisfy my urge for a white faced Speedmaster at considerably less cost. I like.

    My thoughts exactly!
...probably not thought, i don't think that urge can ever be satisfied unless you give in to temptation

It’s good that someone posted the Universal otherwise I would have thought you can mix up a Speedmaster with a vintage Daytona and get away with it...

If I could see past the 'Dan Henry' I'd probably buy one, just come up with a chuffing logo!

    Thanks

Big thanks to the OP for the heads up. Must admit to not taking much notice of Dan Henry before, as I basically just assumed it was a Michael Korrs/Armani type brand. This is a gorgeous thing though and for the money I couldn’t resist the panda dial. Although, anything called an Evil Panda takes some ignoring!

Indeed, it definitely needs a small discreet logo at the top and that's it.
With the massive name makes it look like some cheap mainstream watch (Daniel Wellington etc.)

Nice to see a normal size watch for a change.

They are cheap and probably have a desire to be mainstream. Daniel Wellington is hugely successful and no doubt Dan Henry wouldn’t mind similar success.

Ordered the blue today, been thinking about the 1964 for a while but this one appeals to me so much more and 39mm should be a great fit.

Too small, at least for me. Chrono under 41 is a no-go, but hey, we all have different styles. I like the looks and the price

Thanks OP, these look fantastic for the money, well pretty fantastic full stop. I'd only be worried that I would be wearing one and someone actually called Dan Henry would ask about it!

I know it is relatively cheap, but I would only likely to be trying g to see if I like the style before moving on. Would I be likely to get say £150 back if I sold in a few month?

    Interesting.

How good would a 36mm have been though?

Good enough for me to get over the Dan Henry legend on the dial I think.

Top marks for offering non date versions though.

39mm is too large to tempt me unfortunately.

its nice - and yes I may purchase one. Couple of questions though - why is it dearer than his other models - is there something different about this one? Secondly does anyone know of a bracelet option that could complete the look. Leather is fine and all but sometimes, well you just want a bracelet.....

So has anyone who ordered one of these actually received it yet? Ordered at launch and confirmation offered shipping within 5 days. Yet to be shipped, getting slightly nervous.

Mine arrived today (sorry no pics atm as I'm not home now).

Lovely watch but I'll be returning mine unworn as for me, it's too similar to my Speedy Pro with a tan strap that I use as a daily.

Definitely worth the money though so don't let the above put you off!

Has anyone got the 1962 yet? I really like the look of them but am curious about the lug holes as I’d like to fit a bracelet at some point.
