I've been rootling around in my odds-and-sods drawer and discovered some buried treasure, a Seiko SRPB61K1 which I'm ashamed to say I'd rather forgotten about. It is a very handsome thing, but it has a problem - the Hardlex crystal has picked up some scratches, God knows how. It's also slightly domed and creates a festival of reflections which make the watch harder to read than it should be.
Who's a recommended modder who might be able to sort an AR-coated sapphire crystal to replace it? I have a feeling that might upgrade this watch from "occasional wear" to "go-to summer watch", as it is really very nice in all other respects.
Edit: Now I'm thinking about it, maybe a nice domed acrylic crystal would also work. Hmm.
