Updated SOTC / its been a while!

Thought I’d post a quick update of where I’m at - still got a heavy bias to Steinhart and Tudor but quite a lot of variety as well. I’ll hold back on the words and just make this photocentric - the time since my last SOTC has been spent tinkering round the edges so the core collection hasn’t changed. Ok to the pics -

First up the SBDX017 mm300. The only watch I’ve ever bought twice !

Next up is the Tudor Black Bay Chrono

2 liner Pelagos next. Prefer to the new ones mostly because it has lume at 3 o’clock whereas the new ones don’t

Tudor Harrods Black Bay. One of the few that’s never left the bracelet

Omega Planet Ocean 39.5mm ceramic blue - if one watch had to do this could be the one.

Tudor heritage Chrono Monte Carlo - summer watch always gteed to put a smile on

Breitling superocean heritage special edition (42mm) - best mesh bracelet I’ve owned

Tudor Black Bay gmt - had the date issue. Loved it since got it back - gorgeous to me / can’t ever see me selling it

Panerai Radiomir Base logo - at 45mm the size terrifies me but it just works. Love everything about it tbh -

Tudor Black Bay 58. As close to perfect as you can get. Strangely not worn as much as others though. Still trying to work out why that is

Tudor prince date tiger Chrono 79270p. My only (rev) panda variant - great size at 40mm

Omega speedmaster pro with white gold bezel and moonphase - still my go to dressier watch

Glashutte Original Panoreserve. Always had panomaticlunar as my grail but out of reach. This came up instead and has satisfied that itch easily. Just a gorgeous watch imho

Longines 302 - 1969 birth yr watch - only one I’ve ever seen with Roman numerals which makes it really quite special. At 35.5 it’s the smallest I own and I should wear it more but if it were a couple mm larger

Sinn 356 flieger copper dial. Just back from a full strip down and service which it badly needed surprisingly since only 3 yrs old. Lovely unusual watch for Sinn

Steinhart 911 special edition of 10 (I think) - was made for the PZA Porsche team engineers

Steinhart Macau ltd edition. This one is number 00 of 100 and was the preserial prototype

Steinhart Lunaare gmt limited edition of 111 pieces

Steinhart Odisea ltd edition gmt of 210. Was made for Spanish forum relojes-especiales.com

Steinhart North Sea ltd edition of 100 made for Belgian fan page forum on Facebook

Steinhart Marbella golf - Gunter and a group of friends travel to different places to golf and he made this watch for those friends - never been for sale - not sure if some might be sold soon or not. Amazing colours though. Very lucky to have it.

Steinhart ocean 2 orange. Homage to IWC aquatimer I think. This one may leave the collection - not sure yet

Old logo 39mm coke gmt in mint shape. Doesn’t get worn really though - been torn on selling this for months. It’s survived so far - mainly because I’d have zero chance of finding another

Lastly (congratulations on making it this far ) Steinhart military white 42mm. Only just got this and I do like it / very plain legible and clear, but wears a bit big for me? Time will tell

Love the GO. Prefer blue/grey version but they are all very nice.

I was after an orange ocean 2 previously! Very stylish piece and you don’t see too many of them around.

The blue was my choice but am happy with the ivory . Re the O2 I’d consider parting if you remain on the hunt for one

Wow! What a diverse and awesome collection. Love these posts.

The Steinharts aren’t for me, but this isn’t my collection!

Favourites are the Glushutte and the Planet Ocean - that would be a killer two watch collection on their own.

very nice collection with an obvious bias towards dive watches. Certainly no bad thing.

My stand out favourite would have to be Glashutte Panoreserve.

Do you ever fear there could be a lot of servicing requirements with a collection of that size? That would be a concern of mine with regard to expense.

It does cross my mind but would only be an issue if several needed done at once I think. Sinn just been done

Stunning collection Rusty. What's next or the grail for you, a 70s Tudor Submariner?

If you ever get fed up of the Marbella golf, I'm sure sure I could create a space in the Watch box.

Don’t think I would spend current market rate on a Tudor sub tbh Ken.

    Great collection! Some lovely watches.

I’m swaying back to Tudor now I got my bb58. Had the original black bay eta and wasn’t too bothered by it but now loving the bb58 and saving up for a gmt

Nice collection and some beauties there 👍
I don’t mind Steinharts and am wearing the Ocean One Chronograph as I speak. Not sure I like all of your Steinharts but the golf one is rare and interesting.

    Wow! a fantastic collection.

I’m not a great chrono fan but the Tudor Heritage really appeals, particularly on their supplied striped Nato, a true summer watch.
