Gmail is hideous with distribution lists. Can anyone help please? I've a regular group of 17 to send to, and each time I have to add all the participants individually. I've googled and youtubed and everything else but I can't figure out how to make a new distribution list and add the 17 others.
Any help would be MUCH appreciated as I'm getting really fed up with this. Surely it must have this basic feature?

Yes thanks. They're not listed. The people I have been emailing aren't in the list of contacts?? If I compose an email and type "Em" in the "to" box then it brings up the full email address of Emma, for example, so it must know Emma's email address, but Emma doesn't appear in the list of contacts at contacts.google.com it's frustrating.
If the Google UI is failing you (and you're not alone with this) then I'd recommend sending using your own preferred local mail client (e.g. Thunderbird, whatever). This can connect to Gmail's outgoing SMTP server and send that way. In this case, any distribution list is stored locally on your mail client.
