    Alternative to watch finder?

    Hi,

I do more reading of posts on here than commenting and didn't want to just post thumbs up or similar just to raise my post count so i can use Sales corner...

So, given that I can't use SC and i have a watch to sell could you point me in the direction of any reputable sites to approach? I might try eBay too but not sure i can be bothered with the potential scammers!

    Thanks,

    Glenn

It will depend on the watch in question I guess
But Chronomaster are good to deal with
You could also try some of the London dealers as well such as Austin kaye
Do you research first though find out how much you watch is selling for and have a figure you accept in mind.

Thanks for that, i'll give them a go also.

Watch is a nice IWC that i bought a few years ago:

Been offered £3250 ish from watchfinder but of course would like a bit more if possible!

Sounds like a good price to me ( £3250 against an IWC they are selling for £4500ish, remember they are dealer so need a profit margin, will pay 20% vat so £250ish, might need a service, not the most popular watch and may have to offer a discount to sell )

Try the other usual suspects like Blowers, watches.co uk, Dominic Hackett (Hackett watches) and Miltons in Chester( Milton is on the forum).

    Agreed regarding the WF price
Does not sound so bad to me if that is their selling price

www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk and www.miltonaires.com both buy stock and are represented on this forum.
