I’ve had enough. Will be posting a final SOC soon. But had enough of TZ - good to meet those I have - keep the flame burning and all that.
May go off to watch school, so need to concentrate on studies - next life chapter is beginning for me.

Enjoy your time offline and remember, you can check out, but you can never leave.
All the best.

I hope you change your mind Martyn, always enjoyed your contributions, particularly your in depth watch reviews.

That’s a shame as I enjoyed your posts and meeting you at the Surrey GTG earlier this year. Best wishes on your next chapter in life.

Will be shame to see you go, the in-depth review's of different watch brands has been enlightening
All the best in the future, hopefully you'll be back with a Vacheron right up
Hope to you see you come back, without your review I would not have got the zenith! but then I would have alot more spare cash! so not sure if you did me a favour or not really!!
anyway was always good reading your posts
Remember to take your towel, good luck with any plans and hopes for the future.
Sorry to see you go. I have also enjoyed reading your reviews.
Best of luck with watch school.
Sorry to see you go. You will be missed, along with Walkerwek who also announced his departure recently.
That’s the second long standing worthwhile contributor leaving the forum lately, what is that telling us?

Martyn sorry to see You leave take very good care My Friend and pop in now and then I have always enjoyed your contributions best wishes for the future.
Perhaps we all dip in and out as other parts of our real lives dictate.
There is still a massive amount of good here on tz-uk and I hope we do see you again.
Good luck with this next stage and don't forget your Babel Fish.

Nooo can’t be true - end of an era. All that skill and knowledge, let’s hope there is a rethink.

I hope this ends up being a sabatical rather than a departure.
Good luck Martyn, although I'm not convinced you have all the requisite skills to be a TZUK resident watchmaker... I mean, you'll have to work harder in the alienating customers classes...
Ignoring the BP, I do find TZ-UK quite balanced - where members generally look out for each other, and I for one appreciate that.
Thank you for your review posts over the years, and good luck with your next chapter.
Papa hotel, he is a personal friend and so interact regularly on watch stuff for many years. He is the reason I joined tz after a long time looking in.

Sorry to see you go, Martyn - not that we have interacted a great deal, but I have always enjoyed your posts, and indeed, consider it your fault that I am so obsessed with all things Skywalker X-33. I hope it's a sabbatical, as others have said, but in any case, I hope the things that need sorting get duly sorted.
Oh, and if you see Wowbagger the Infinitely Prolonged, tell him he's already insulted me. ;-)
So will miss his content but will still get it first hand off the forum

The thing is, many of us are a trifle obsessive (say no more!) and walking away from the hobby can be liberating.
I was into Audio for thirty years; then one day I woke-up and thought ‘enough.’ Never looked back, just walked away. I kept many of those old friends, indeed some have even graduated to watches......
So good luck...time for a change.
Best wishes for your next chapter. I've enjoyed your posts, be good to see you back if that works for you. If not, thanks for your contribution to the forum.
Good luck, from another who always enjoyed your collection & posts.
Can't believe I'm the first, but surely no need for watch school when the answer to the Ultimate Question(s) of Life, the Universe, and Everything is obviously 42!
All the best!!
Sure you will back when you have had a break, which is often needed!!
I will miss your contributions, especially your watch reviews. Always a good read and educational.
Good luck with whatever the future holds Martyn.
I can only reiterate the comments above.
Thanks for your contributions, and the best of luck in your future endeavours.
You will be missed Martyn, and we look forward to your 'I'm back!' post.
Best of luck.
Best of luck for the future. I too hope to see you back.
Enjoyed reading your stuff.

That's a real shame Martyn, I'm not around much any more with some RL issues but it's sad to see some of the best members departing for good recently.
Good Luck Martyn
So long from another occasional poster but avid reader of your reviews Martin. Distance lends perspective so maybe see you online again down the road.

Look forward to seeing your SOC. It's always interesting to see what people are content with.
Maybe a southern gtg is in order. Far from the madding crowd.
Totally understand how you feel Martyn, hardly ever on here myself anymore. Good luck for the future
Man up. You have made some good friends. Bought some bargain watches. Done some average (cut and paste) reviews. And generally been an ok guy. Stay or go, your choice.
