    Show us your Zenith!

I think Zenith is my new favourite brand, picked up a couple in quick succession :)

I’d love to see a thread full of Zeniths, go on post them up!

    Zenith Rainbow Elite 670 – 1998
    39mm; 9mm thick

Worn every day for 18 years, now rarely gets an outing. Find it hard to read given I now need reading glasses.

There's the 2016-on limited edition (1000) Zenith Heritage Cronometro TIPO CP-2:

    https://www.zenith-watches.com/en_en...egendary-watch

    - and as shown in CatalystGuy's post above. A homage to the Cairelli-Roma watch. 'Automatic' on the dial, solid caseback.

Around the same time they issued a limited edition (50) one for PuristSPro, as shown in MartynJC's post above and in his post @

    https://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.p...of-fifty-gt-gt

    - 'Cronometro' on the dial, clear caseback.

And given the success of those they now make the the Zenith Cronometro CP-2 Flyback, 2018-

    https://www.zenith-watches.com/en_en...flyback-1.html

    - 'Flyback' on the dial, clear caseback.

    Nice watches! :)

I’m a big fan of their vintage stuff, particularly what I like to call the A-team from the late 60s... Here are my A384, A385, A3817 and A386:

Actually it was mistakenly revealed af Basel in 2016, and under embargo to October 2016, I recieved one of the first around the October that year (when everyone was clamoring for the new Daytona)

Sadly LE re-issue, means nothing because they followed the speedy model and started churning out variants left right and centre.

I postef this before, but here’s the variant list:
    -October 2016, launch of CP2
-Purists Pro CP2 (cronmetero on dial)
-Unknown CP2 with olive nato (could be part of the original 1000, but has a completely different reference)
    -aged bronze
    -aged steel
-Watches of Switzelrand LE (reverse panda dial)

Thanks for this endo. I've edited my post re the 2016 release.

I wonder whether what you call the 'Unknown CP-2' had the ?/1000 number engraving on the back. Presumably not if it has a different reference.

Thanks, it is a series one De Luca - the caseback ref is 01.0040.400 - which is the same for all De Lucas, but its proper reference is 01.0042.400 - mine is an earlier small logo example from 1988 (I guess).

    No probs

The pictures i found in mid 2017 did have ?/1000
Same dial as the re-issue, but It Came on an Olive fabric strap rather than the croc.

Could mean a few things, sales on the original didn’t do well and they split the run into to two variants, they offered the fabric strap in some regions where the standard gator strap wasn’t fashionable, or just did a second batch of LEs and weren’t transparent about it.
I’ll have a root around, i saved the refence numbers somewhere.

Good stuff, and appreciated. I do like that olive strap, and thought I might get a quote on it from WoS next time I'm in London.

Superb work endo, many thanks for that. I've made a separate note of it. I certainly wouldn't have known that the olive strap version was a different ref and a sep LE-count.

The A277, DeLuca first series, original CP2 were on my list before the prices went too high, but fortunately managed to get the first on my list at least -
