That sounds like it needs a service and a repair, from experience I would send it to Rolex as most of the independents don’t have all the parts for the 116710LN.
Expect a cost of between £600-900.
Ok, decided to take in my Ceramic GMT-11 for a service as the hour hand stopped , what is the general opinion what is wrong . A bit more info for you, i can still adjust the hour hand manually but it docent have the same movement as before. Watch is 10 years old so perhaps one of the early 116710 LN's if that helps.

10 years old and never been serviced? Give it to Rolex. It'll cost £500, and add that to the value. Don't muck about.
Was there not an issue with the early models regarding the movement? Either way a service should sort it.
What is a GMT 11?

If it’s a known issue, surely Rolex will cover the cost to fix it - even though it took longer to go ‘pop’ I reckon they will if it’s one of the movements that hasn’t had a fix

Had this with mine a few years back. The hour hand lost its individual click when setting and would freely move. Contacted William Rices watches and they said it was a fault they were familiar with. Sent to them, and they fixed it, saying it would not be a problem that would happen again. To this day, no issues.
