PRECISTA PRS-18 Quartz COSC Bezel question

Mine is a bit rough on the top outer ring, in the winter it will possibly catch on the sleeves of my jacket.

Is there any reason I shouldn’t/couldn’t chamfer the edge with some fine emery paper?

Won't that remove the bead blasting?

    That’s why I am asking as I wasn’t sure.

    Option 1:
    - smooth it down by filing/sanding it
    - have the bead blasting redone

    Option 2:
    - smooth it down by filing/sanding it
    - redo the case by brushing it (I'd recommend Garryflex)

A brushed case brings a totally different look and feel to it.... but in a good way

I agree with Marco about brushing the case. I’ve seen the original cases polished too and they look fantastic. I’ve only had one of these (I know that’s hard to believe!) because I felt the overall finish was very rough, especially the bezel edges.
