    Show us your worldtimers

Let’s see them! I used to have an IWC worldtimer but sold it a while back - now thinking of adding one back - so interested in seeing what people have?

Don't have one now, but I miss this one that I had a few years back:

    My favourite complication.

    Coredriller’s PP is stunning.

Thanks for those. Never noticed that on the Patek’s - but wow - most others have a red dot to signify daylight savings (which may get abolished someday). Could be a painful redial cost for some!

Has anyone experience of the JLC Geophysic true-seconds worldtimer?

Pretty, but pretty pointless as a complication.

Maybe to you. They have their uses.

Unless you're going to say 'I use my phone' in which case ditch your watches (excepting divers...)

Not a phone guy, me. But nor am I a useless complication guy. However, I do have a mid-60s Seiko WT as a curiosity piece. But no way would I pay serious money on one. Too niche.

Some of these are really lovely.
Is there such a thing as a quartz world-timer? I saw a few GMTs, but quartz seems rare as world-time complication.

I’m pretty sure there are some Citizen and Seiko quartz world timers. Might be worth a google.

Love mine. I love GMT’s as well and have a few. Very useful when travelling as the main time is destination and 24 hour hand stays on home time, but the worldtimer on this JLC is very useful IMHO. Have a son travelling in South America at the moment and having his time zone on the second watch face means I don’t have to work out where he is up to. It’s there at a glance.

Watch Club have (or they did last week) a WG PP world timer - have to say I’ve had to resist having a proper look at it !

Well, assuming you are in the UK, the New York time is wrong. As there is a second dial I presume you can adjust for DST.

The trouble with the fixed bezel types is the times can be all over the place, some are not correct a lot of the time.

Old picture as watch in the safe - but you can adjust - the top crown moves the city ring and the hour hand on the second dial jumps with it. Also has an am/pm indicator. Loved it in 2005 and when I bought it and still love it today. It’s outlasted many others in the collection

My point exactly. A confused mess as a complication, albeit the worldwide cities make a nice talking point.

Madness is clearly a form of genius in this case 😄

Totally agree. I have just acquired my first Zenith - a Tipo CP-2 from SC - and am hugely taken with it. This Doublematic would be my next wish if it wasn't 45mm, which I know I can't pull off.

My first decent watch. Bought in 1988, about 35% off in AbuDhabi !
