I do find this forum a bit odd nowadays. All this talk of ‘cars and watches go together’ has nothing to do with watches and more to do with significant displays of wealth, aka willy waving. If you point that out you’re apparently jealous/poor/both, personally I find it rather cheesy. And I worked in the city in the 80’s, wore red braces and lots of hair gel, if I think it’s cheesy god knows what other people think

I still think your comments regarding the armed forces was bang out of line. I happen to think that being a veteran still matters. Many don't. You might not. I also understand that it was not posted on this forum. But it was posted. Therefore, I'd like to take this opportunity to state publicly I think you are an unpleasant chap.
