Good work as always animalone. It's amazing how after the usual top 3 of Rolex, Seiko and Omega just how steep the decline in numbers for other brands in. I'm not sure I ever see a change in the top 2 especially.

    Thanks for keeping a tally
Can Seiko knock Rolex off top spot?

happened 4 in months last year, but hasn't happened (so far) this year. There is quite a gap in the running total so far, I would be surprised if they can catch Rolex this year.

I’m absolutely delighted to have got Dockers on the board, level pegging with Blancpain and GO. Fully deserving of this under-appreciated manufacture.

I was lucky enough to pick up my example in India about 20 years ago. The exact price is difficult to calculate, as it came free with a pair of trousers, which cost £7. I think of it as priceless. It rarely comes out of the safe, as it is in mint condition, so don’t expect to see it trouble the leader board again any time soon.

I’m surprised to see Vostok and Pulsar so low down the list. I had the impression they are a bit more popular than that on the forum.

Thanks again for sticking with this Ian, very interesting as always.

Out of interest were GS bundled in with Seiko at that time?

If Grand Seiko and Seiko are put together, so should Rolex and Tudor...
