I like the look of both, but if pushed I think I'd prefer the original

I'll be sticking with my gen1.
    That's nice also!

I've never ventured beyond the turtle and am slightly gutted I not discovered the Sumo sooner.
I like all of the variants...it's just a cool watch.

Crafter Blue now fitted to Sumo. Just needed another size of spring bar.

Great price here if anyone is looking to buy new. With their 10% off, £598.

accuracy wise mine varies. it seems to be more accurate if the power is running down and slow if its well wound oddly. it lso seems to vary for other reasons, some I've yet to determine. it can go weeks beng with a couple of secs/day, and then it can go weeks running -30 secs per day. it can also be +30 secs a day a times. overall its not bad but the variance irritates a little.

I bought a crafter blue as well.. I couldn’t get the spring bars in , and when I eventually did they kept popping out. I tried I thinner bar but it just make the strap fit a bit too losely so I ended up returning the strap. Shame as I liked it. I’ve gone back to the bracelet .

I've had mine for about a week now and really like it. I have a MM300 ratcheting clasp coming from Cousins tomorrow and another later for my MM200.

The only thing I'm not sure of is it's a noticeable step down in quality from the MM200. I'd much prefer a more expensive Sumo around the MM200 price point.

The bracelet is terrible -- I've never seen a worse pins and collar system on a Seiko and the the links are all one piece which is seriously low rent. I'd love a diashield coating as I've managed to scratch the link I removed somehow. The crown looks and feels cheap and the bezel is pretty agricultural but I never use it so not a big deal. I also I don't think the sapphire is on par with the MM200.

Overall I really like it but the second a more expensive one comes out which is a tier up I'll be swapping.
