    Omega nato strap

Looking at buying an omega nato grey for £125 and it says it comes with a complimentary fitting kit? Previously you paid extra for an omega branded springbar remover.Anyone ordered recently and does it come in the rather nice omega red case I've seen in photos? My thinking is if you get all this including free p&p then not bad value considering an omega buckle must cost £40ish.Sent a question to omega but not had a reply. Also I need 19mm but shows on the site as 19-20mm?

A friend of mine purchased one through a store. It came in the red case but no omega buckle

I got one for my Seamaster, it came in the nice red box with the buckle fitted but no spring bar removal tool, think it came with new spring bars too.

If you buy online, I believe you get a nice kit including spring bar tool and travel case etc.

EDIT: found the pic I'd seen elsewhere:

Thanks for all the replies. Found a video on YouTube and the guy said not to buy at a boutique as you don't get the full package, just the strap so buying online seems to be the way to go.

19/20 fits fine as I have a modded FOIS and a couple of omega natos.

Should be quick - when you start filling out the details online they give an estimated delivery date. Unfortunately the complimentary strap fitting kit has disappeared - so you don't get it any longer. This used to appear in the order window beneath your strap details. As per normal for me I hesitated trying to decide what colour to get and missed out.Hoping it will reappear...

No disrespect, but am I reading this right? £125 for an Omega buckle attached to a bit of nylon?

    Good Lord....

Most NATO straps are about a tenner, aren’t they?

Yeah, but you don’t get the extra gubbins with the £10 ones :-)

You can also look at Panerai Natos priced at 250 CHF. For the little piece of steel with wheels and springs.

No ten quid NATO strap can hold a candle to Omega’s for quality.

I’m not defending the price, but they’re in a completely different class.

Yup they are expensive, However my brother was getting a new omega for his birthday and I thought it would be great gift to go with it.

They are top quality though and the case and tools are a nice touch.

They are, and as is the way with such things, you pay a premium.

Perhaps they're only "worth" £50, compared to a £10 one? But try finding something for £50 that's actually as good.

I've paid £35 for a "premium" NATO, and that wasn't as good as the Omega. It's very nice, but not quite there.
