Now that's a mighty fine looking PO. What sort of price can these be had for?
Couple of good deals knocking around on these watches.......which there needs to be with an RRP of over £8000.
I'm really liking the combo on this special edition even though I know it's a wee bit big for me.
What do we think? Any Deep Black owners out there?

You should target a buy price of £5.5k

Thanks Ryan. That's pretty much the price I was looking at but accept that this is one I may need to take a bit on.
Just wondered if there was anyone on TZ that had owned the 45.5mm Deep Black range and how wearable it was.
Big and thick but light and snug on that strap?

I have the chrono version. Beast of a watch but not heavy given the materials it's made from. I think I can just about pull it off with my 6.75" wrists...

I think (hope) the GMT is a little thinner than the Chrono but as I've got very manly 7.25" wrists then I might be OK.
Trying on this evening at nearest AD just to be sure.

Not the best shot but tried this on tonight at Omega AD in Bluewater.
Actually quite taken with it. Immediately felt smaller in the hand than a 17mm think near 46mm watch has any right to.... presumably due to the light weight case etc.
Also the tapering lugs and flexible rubber strap holds the watch down close to the wrist so never felt heavy or bulky.
It will never easily fit under a shirt cuff but then it's probably not expected to.
The brushed finish to the ceramic case also helps the watch keep a relatively low profile compared to the usual polished stainless steel cases.
It's the 1st Planet Ocean I've tried on for a while that if seriously consider buying for these reasons.
Just need the AD to match Banks Lyons pricing now to make it even easier.

It sounds like you love it and it looks great. Go for it
I accept it doesn't look great in that shot but it looked and felt smaller than that very amateurish photo suggests.
Always going to be a bit marmite to some people but hey at least it not another bloody Rolex.

One in my local AD but with my spending history there I reckon they'd move it below the price you are seeing. Happy to ask if it helps?

Thanks Ryan. I'll drop you a PM.

But then I do keep thinking about this one which I tried on last week. Twice the price but certainly a bit special. Worth another £5500 on top?

Very sensible advice of course but knowing me even the bigger, better purchases come with just as much risk of the post purchase sale.
Doesn't help that my 12 year old is egging me on to sell the lot and buy all new watches I've been looking it.

Looks a lovely watch but personally prefer the shinny ones.
But if it works for you go for it.

Thanks so much for the picture of the ap
I was looking at this watch on the net yesterday as the only watch i have regretted selling was a royal oak offshore rubber bezel
This one just looks a lot more practical ?
Do any of you informed people know if discounts are available
