The thief was either a watch connaisseour or blind.
I'd rather wear a 15 pounds Swatch than that ugly thing.

“The Watch was inspired by McLaren formula one cars”.

Does that mean that it’s been running slow for the past ten years?

Wandering around anywhere with £1m on the wrist is madness without a security detail. WTF was he thinking?

It’s the worlds lightest wristwatch, at 49 grams, for only a million quid.

Or, alternatively, you can have one 5.6 grams heavier for about £1200, the Breitling Colt Skyracer, that’s more accurate and won’t scratch.

I don’t think they’re particularly difficult to find. One sold on here for under a grand in April.

    A million pounds...for that???

Two crimes for the price of one.

Snide, smart Alec comments aside, I would wear it with joy if someone gifted it. Amazing technology and workmanship.
Weighing just 40 gm and while the looks may not be for everyone, I like its funkiness. The price is certainly outrageous but that is the world of RM and exclusivity.
Don’t know much about the kid or family, so no comments on how he afforded it or whether he really appreciated what he was wearing.

According to the article, it's weightless!
... and is a tourbillon (a specific mechanism of watchmaking), that is, the entire mechanism inside the case rotates at a rate of one revolution per minute, thus nullifying the effects of gravity.
