    Tudor pricing at Blowers.

Just browsing Blowers website and noticed they have two used Tudor black bay 58s in stock. £3,250 and £3,450!

Surely no one would pay that would they, that’s crazy.

Sure they'll be along presently. But, could argue good value compared to a £65k+ steel 3-hand Nautilus.

I’d politely suggest that they’re no mugs when it comes to pricing watches regardless of personal opinions on here.

A quick look on companies house would confirm it.

Loads of watches trade above retail on the secondary market.

I’d never pay over retail but clearly plenty will for models that are not readily available.

    It’s not new.

Are they still that hard to come by? Genuine question as I am hoping to pick one up soon. I understand the GMT is still on a wait list, is the 58 the same?

A 58 can take a while, especially on the bracelet, but not so long that you’d need to pay over retail.

You’d have to be really impatient to pay over but some people are.

Blowers know the market and many here don't. It's as simple as that.

This time next year the watches will have been sold and the same people will be moaning about the price. It as always been thus.

Yes, but plenty of people will want something now not in 6 months. How much that is work is an individual question to answer.
It's just a matter of time...

I see the 58 a fair bit now in London, stock must be coming through well. That being said I usually see them on nato or leather, bracelet seems much harder to come by. I imagine they have pretty much swapped out all the gmt warranty work now so perhaps we will see the gmt a little more.

I went to look at a leather version at Hugh Rice in Hull last week. Decided to get myself on a wait for a bracelet model, and was quoted 3-4 months. There was a PSA in Sales corner yesterday for a Bracelet version in Glasgow

Thanks for the info guys. Will head into town at the weekend and nose around the usual suspects to get the lay of the land.

Exactly; which is why these business exist to serve those types of customers ... I can't see the problem. It probably helps maintain the residuals in those models which I don't hear anyone complaining about.

A healthy secondary market is usually a good sign for the market as a whole.

I’ve seen plenty of 58’s at retailers of late, particularly in Milton Keynes

The bracelet £600. Makes sense to buy it on the bracelet or leather. NATO version is the worst value.

I’m not in the market for any more watches, but found myself in Norwich a couple of months back and for the first time in ages glanced at the watches in the window of a large jewellers. They had both a BB58 and a GMT in stock - both of which I was able to try on and could have bought there and then, no waiting list malarkey. Tbh is was underwhelmed by both - particularly the GMT which just looks like a slab sided pastiche of a Rolex GMT with something very odd I couldn’t put my finger on. The BB58 was actually quite nice but didn’t leave any real impression, beyond trying to look retro. I’m amazed there are waiting lists when I just stumbled across both whilst not even looking!

Not even looking to the point you made time to try them on after noticing those precise watches. Righto; we obviously have different ideas of not looking.

I was bored whilst the wife was shopping and just glanced in the window and was surprised to see them. Tried them on out of curiosity and to kill some time (no pun intended). Having bought Rolex Subs and GMT’s for considerably less than either, not that long ago I was unimpressed. Simples!

Hardly a kings ransom if one really desires the watch.

No, but I don’t hold with wasting money if I can avoid it. If you want it on a bracelet hold out for a little while is my advice but if you are in a hurry buy one of the other options and buy the bracelet.
