    Watches Stolen.

My son’s house was burgled at the weekend.
He had a Rolex Oysterquartz 17014 stolen. Serial number N249828.
He also had a Tag Heuer Super Professional 1000m taken. Serial number 840-006/349.
They were given to him as gifts from me and of course hold sentimental value.
If anyone is offered either of them for sale please let me know.

    Thanks
    Sean.

That’s terrible news. There is a specific sub forum for this btw - hope they get recovered.

Rotten, but recoveries do happen and it’s worth making every effort.

He contacted my website earlier today. I’ve already put it in the Lost & Found section here and forwarded to the Art Loss Register / Safergems & Checkmend Watch Registers. He said he had already reported it to Rolex U.K.

As a slightly unusual model which appeals to a specialist buyer and commonly requires service / parts that involve Rolex U.K., I think the odds of a recovery are slightly better than normal. It just might take a while.
