    Historic Travel Times (UK)

    Hi,

Hopefully someone within the community can point me in the right direction?

I’m in the process of making a house purchase and am considering 1 of 2 properties.

They are both in the same town, however different locations and wondered if there was a database somewhere on the internet that I could enter a start and destination postcode and it would give a rough travel time for the past year or so?

I have traveled to both properties in peak and off peak times but wondered if there was a site that I could use that would be a little more scientific.

    Thanks in advance

    B

    Cant Google maps do this?
Maybe not a daily snap shot from the past but at peak hours check the travel times on maps over a period of a normal (not school holiday) week and you'll have your average travel times on foot, by car or public transport.

Waze can do this too, not sure if Google maps are pulling from its database though.

Never noticed that before, although I can’t seem to get that option on the iPhone app.

Google Maps on iPhone? Sure you can.

Search for the destination > Directions > change "Your Location" to the desired start location, job done.

    Works for me at least:

Thanks, although it’s the additional option to choose a specific date and time of departure that’s web only. Hopefully the app will get that update in due course.
