No, I had it when I was really rattling through watches. I had two of those Poljot De Luxe cases and despite the watch being only 35mm, the long lugs made it sit funny on my wrist.

I also had a lovely watch with a beautiful dusky blue sunburst dial, but the readability of the steel hands against it was terrible in the dark, they just vanished, which wasn't much use in something I was wearing as a daily watch.

Still enjoying this INTERPOL Cockpit, but with this extremely heavy solid link bracelet with a butterfly clasp.

Indeed. This and the 16700, in rotation. Everything else is going.

Indeed. I like blue dials, and am a total sucker for sunburst finish and other visually interesting textures. Regardless of whether it's fashionable, if it's appealing, I shall buy it. :) Both my Hour Vision Blue and Seiko Baby MM are delicious blue dials, and are going nowhere.

Probably until the late 80s but I expect they will continue to be available beyond that time ...

I hope for a while as I do like a well executed blue dial. I have to say that although theres been a bit of a proliferation of them recently deep blue, panerai, etc, blue dials have been around for as long as I've been collecting.

My first blue dialled watch, collected yesterday.

I usually have black or white faces, but so glad I went for something different.

I asked on the Facebook Vostok group when the blue dialled scuba dude was launched, no definitive reply but someone posted a picture of one from the Soviet era, so mid eighties I guess. 30 years and still going strong.

    Gorgeous colour.
And, for me, better looking than many Rolex models. Why would this sort of colour ever go out of fashion?

I've got blue dials from the 1970s, so I don't think they're a passing fad.

They'll vary in popularity, but I think they're here to stay.
