Steinhart Ocean Two - Mark 1 - Blue - Stolen in Transit

Basically I bought the above Watch from France and it was posted with La Poste and past across to Parcelforce in the UK. The weight on the parcel at the time of sending was 663 grams, but sadly only 157 grams on arrival. Some low life had removed the contents from the parcel during transit.

If you see one for sale or are offered one down the pub, please let me know...

    Thanks,
    Ken

Oh no, the best variant too, well done on tracking one down, hopefully you'll find another soon.

Thanks Paul, but it's a real kick in the balls after tracking one down. The seller even used a special La Poste parcel box that has a seal like our RMSD envelopes and that was clearly intact. The scumbags broke into the parcel via the side panel. I've got photos from every angle.

Be interesting to know if the parcel is weighed at each tracking stage, I suspect not as that would surely flag up an issue.

Bummer, nice looking piece, are the parcel contents shown on the dispatch label or do they simply take pot luck?

Yes. I have lodged a claim for a refund with PayPal. The parcel was also sent fully insured, so the seller has lodged a claim with La Poste. Hopefully should lead to getting something back.

I couldn't find any reference to a watch on the parcel, so maybe pot luck.
