    INOX Mechanical - Impressions

Hi there, some may be interested in a quick review, I needed a more 'value for money watch' after liquidating my watches for photo equipment.

Overall I like it, interesting angles, robust and elegant.
    -£570 new
-Wears big, 43mm feels similar to a Panerai
-Screw down crown thread is very deep
    -Display back and deployment clasp

    Dislikes:
    -21mm lugs
    -Prefer date be a 6 o'clock
-Strap edges are not the most comfortable

Tried the dive bezel version, cheap feeling with 60 clicks, plus i’m not keen on the bold markings...

Intended to have this when I saw the ad and even played with it in the boutique.

Like the tough case design but the material of this leather.

Kinda expensive for its specs, still might look for used in the future.

    Enjoy your new watch!

I like these. Straps are easily changed. Price is too high for what it is.

I'm no expert but the price seems OK to me, for a ETA 2824-2 - by a reputable swiss brand?

Actually you're right, I think I'm too used to Eddie's prices!

I think the price is really good for what you're getting there. They're a bit large bit I like the watch, nice original design.

I know what you mean :) prices outside of Timefactors have got too rich for me - £3800 for a speedmaster

I've been wearing one of the quartz versions of the INOX this week.

When I got it the watch wasn't a runner and the movement needed replacing, so it wasn't a huge investment. I have to say that I like the watch and I don't find it particularly large - certainly it doesn't feel any bigger than my Seiko BFK that I've been swapping it with this week.

Although it looks black in the photo that is just the poor lighting in the office, as mine is actually the olive green version. I have a MN green w/red stripe strap turning up this week, which should hopefully set it off quite well.

The automatic version seems like a lot of watch for the price.

I bought the quartz version for my stepson a few Christmases ago. He’s 22, just finished an engineering degree, does mountain biking, carting and other active sports and I knew he wasn’t going to baby it hence the decision to give him a semi-decent-ish beater. I have to say, it’s withstood all his abuse and shown no sign of breaking. Not my kind of watch at all but for what it is I’m impressed with it.

One thing has always put me off these is the double rehaut markings. I don't understand the one that divides the seconds/minutes into thirds. Why?
