    Chrono 24 Exchange rates

I understand their exchange rates are not very good when buying from abroad. Has anybody been able to use the TransferWise app. when buying? (I have sent C24 a query asking but no reply so far) Thanks

TransferWise is great but if you are talking about using it for the chrono24 escrow service then I am not sure if that is possible

If they allow make an offer, you can offer in your own currency - then the seller carries the exchange rate impact.

Tried to make an offer to pay in Euros but C24 want me to pay in GBP at their exchange rate which is disadvantageous to me. They seem to only offer credit card or bank transfer, but the seller advised C24 told him that TransferWise can be used. All rather confusing and frustrating.

Well, I did the deal eventually, but only because the seller in the EU was accommodating and understanding the issue with poor exchange rates. C24 told me TransferWise was not available to me as a way of paying. Plus, the price on C24 kept changing day to day after the seller agreed to put it on sale for GBP and mark it as reserved.

Having said all that, I am thinking of giving C24 a go at selling a watch as the commission is capped at 300 Euros and it is a high value watch. Of course, I would hope for a GBP buyer ideally :)
