I think all this talk about what he looks like is unnecessary. Some of the most violent and unpleasant-people-in-a-fight I know are quite lithe. You'd certainly want them on your side not the other.
He was clearly trying to differentiate and distance himself from the others, no tie, very different posture.
He looked unwell.
Every time I see Rory, I'm reminded of Eddie Redmayne in 'The Danish Girl'.

He appeared to me to be the only one of them with any grasp of reality, the rest are selling unicorns and seem to think that no-deal is some sort of credible threat.
Like all James Bond plots, our hero suffers an early setback...
