    Revisiting the 90s Bands

Looking forward to seeing some bands from the 90s today. The one I am looking forward to the most is Utah Saints. Shame the weather isn’t looking great

I love Something Good, the video is brilliant all round.

Been listening to a lot of Happy Monday and Stone Roses this last week...FOOLS GOLD, brilliant and timely.

Ayr Beach. Two day festival. Yesterday was described as a day for the kids and today is for the parents. Actually that’s about right

I went to one of those 90s Butlins weekends in 2018. Lots of bucket hat Ian Brown wannabe's but was great fun.

    Enjoy

Love that many of the bands are still around. I am seeing Pulp soon as well as James, the Charlatans and Johnny Marr. Looking like a decent year for gigs.

I saw The Primitives at the old Town and Country Club in the late 80s while at university. Sleeper and The Wonderstuff are also the picks for me.

Ash are the band I’ve seen live the most, always a great gig. Met them a few times too, really nice guys.

I remember finishing a GCSE exam in school then getting the bus with mates to buy their recently released ‘1977’ album from Woolworths, before going home to watch the Euro 1996 football opening games on TV. I still have the promotional yellow Ash frisbee they gave with the album, my daughter likes chucking it around.

The 90’s were a great time for me, and music was a huge part of that: Oasis, The Charlatans, Sleeper, Weezer, Nirvana, Radiohead, The Verve, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Shed Seven, The Divine Comedy, The Stone Roses, Ocean Colour Scene etc.

We had our first child in 1992 and my music following sort of dropped off a cliff.

I do like Pulp and the Stereo MCs were always a favourite (saw them a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it), but most of the bands are just names to me

At the shine on Weekender I went to, the happy Mondays were crap, Pete Hook was obnoxious, the Stereo MCs were excellent as were the Orb, but the Lo Fidelity All-stars were outstanding

First band i saw with my oldest friend back in 1983 or so, still remember it so well and have loved them ever since. Been lucky enough to see them many, many times since, from the Hacienda for that first gig to Glastonbury and all different venues in between. Hope you enjoy it as much as i have.

    Revisiting the 90s Bands

Utah Saints were the highlight although Soul II Soul put on a very good performance

Guy from D:Ream hasn’t aged too well.

Caught Crash Test Dummies last year which was a great gig and enjoyable blast from the past. Looking forward to Pulp, haven't seen them since Sziget in 2011.

Slightly OT but I saw this the other day, it's a real human band that have used AI to make the vocal sound like Liam.

    I give you... AISIS
