Wondering why people with no interest in watches are on a watch forum?

Thanks for posting, just shows you need to know your stuff when dealing with Rolexes ,out of all the fakes brands I think Rolex are the better fakes .
I’ve had a couple but I’d never buy one from eBay.

What a minefield vintage can be and from a professional athlete. Disgusting behaviour and I hope the police pay him a visit.

Wonder what his club have to say about this?

Thanks for posting OP, a very interesting read.
I'm surprised at the effort put into 'creating' the K serial 16610. No wonder loose rolex papers sell for so much.

I dont think because someone is a professional athlete we need to be surprised,Afterall where money, and big amounts of money are concerned probably most of the so called professional and what we'd typically put our trust in can be the less trustworthy people in society.

I put trust only in myself initially, and where money is leaving my bank into someone else's I'm very very careful.

Id go for another "visit" option rather than the Police.

Thanks for posting, OP. Simply unbelievable.

I think this should be sticky for easy reference.

Very useful and thought provoking. Highlights the need to be so careful out there.

I'm amazed at the effort involved for such a meagre gain.

It appears that rolexforums.com has deleted the thread, is that because it's not accurate and defamatory?

Rolexforum deleted two of three threads (the first one is still up), but the deletions appear to be linked to controversy around the OP's Ginault story.

This led me to reading about the Ginault story, scary how good the 16610 reps are. I was looking at a few on the rolexforums sale section with a T serial, I now wonder if these were fakes.

    Terrifying really.
