Why would you not wear a Speedy Tuesday?

I can wear it for you FOC so it gets some wrist time.

Because the brushed finish scratches to buggery. The polished finishes on the normal watch can be improved by a Cape Cod, not so the ST, you have to try to do a half arsed job with a pan scourer if you scratch it. Good luck with that. They are for selling, not for wearing.

As many on the forum did.

Thanks for your friendly replies !!
My question was genuine as i had heard that st s are easy to scratch and wanted to know from other owners if they had experience of using a bracelet

I wore mine almost exclusively for around a year and it didn't have a scratch on it when I sold it(apart from the bracelet marks on the back of the lugs, the 1171 does tend to dig a bit). I loved the brushed finish personally. Wore mine on a modern 1171 bracelet which for my taste was the perfect combo.
