Slim fit mac / rain coat recommendations

Does anyone have a recommendation for a slim fitting smart mac type coat?

I have tried loads over the year but never settled on anything that fits neatly enough, i appreciate the style of most is to be worn over a suit but i just want something to wear over a shirt.

a navy APC one i have comes close but looking for a tan or olive one.

    Try Uniqlo (and Zara)

I like Uniqlo for their quality to price ratio and they do a large range of clothes including macs.

TM Lewin currently have slim fit and skinny fit macs in the clearance sale. I've never been disappointed with Lewin quality.

Why don’t you ask Francis Campelli if he’ll make you one. He’s in South William St.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

I’ve got a Banana Republic one on SC size M which is quite slim fitting.

I think the one he made for me was about€360 but that was over ten years ago and it might have been a friendly price. There’s often a sale rail in the shop so you may be lucky.

Reiss or G-star (yes really) do a nice slim fitting mac, mid thigh length, smart and stylish.

Barbour Ashby. Specifically the 4oz lightweight version.

Basically the modern slim tailored version of the classic Bedale.

I have one and like it a lot. The perfect spring and autumn wax jacket.

Not sure how smart you’re after, but some of the Lifestyle jackets by Arc’teryx might fit the bill?
They’d definitely be waterproof at least!
