New to me (original purchase in April of this year) and also my first watch in this size. So far I’m loving it ; very comfortable and classic styling!

I expect the 36mm Everest to sell out within 2 weeks, possibly even this week.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
As mentioned in the Rolex 1016 thread that first picture is excellent!
I have mine on a generic oyster most of the time and it feels just right with the taper and slimmer clasp. The drilled lugs make strap changes easy and so I sometimes wear it on a Nato, leather strap or better still Perlon - however it always ends up back on the bracelet.

The bracelet looks different to the photos on the website? The Oyster links seem to be the other way around?
RYNOC - that's a cracking picture!

Just had a dispatch notification today so these pictures are doing a good job of getting me in the mood. I'm not getting back to the UK for another 7 weeks though so please keep the pictures coming!
I just cannot wait for the September/October release of the new black model.
Fueling up!

Does anyone remember the discussion as I can't find it among the threads.
'Ive read or heard rumours the new 36mm black will have some changes to the handset length or dial.
Is this referring to the second hand changing to a counterweight style 1016 lollipop from the current ?

That shot looks great!!! All the shots I posted with exception of post 10 and 22 were taken with iPhone 6+ the other two were with a Nikon D3400 with a 35mm f1.8 Lens. All editing was done with free, but awesome, snapseed and Lightroom apps on the phone. It helps a lot that the watch is easy to make look good!

I really do like the 1016 look of the Everest especially the 36mm version and have been contemplating purchasing one for a while now however, there are a few niggles that are putting me off from pulling the trigger on one.
1) Miyota 9015 movement, although reliable (I have experienced this in other watches) the noisy rotor (same with the 8215) really gets to me a lot.
2) The size of the factory clasp, it look way oversized and modern for the vintage look & feel of the Everest.
3) The lack of taper on the factory bracelet from 20mm down to 18mm from what I have read, which doesn't really suit the aesthetic of the watch's 36mm case size.
Do we know if any of these issues are going to be addresses by Timefactors for future build releases of this model and if so, is there any timeframe ?
Don't get me wrong, I really like this watch very much and may still purchase one at some point in the near future.

To reply quickly, the new batch will have:
1) Miyota 9039 movement (no ghost date)
2) simple "old style clasp!
3) oyster bracelet with rivet, tapering 20 -> 16
and adjusted hands.
See here below a pic of the new bracelet - clasp (although the end link will be male and not female).
