    While I'm sure she's a fine musician, and appreciate that people do enjoy watching music performed by fruity women rather than the usual apes, the breathless blurb has me rolling my eyes. Genuinely impressive drumming looks like this

    Not only is that hideously difficult on a technical level, every single stroke has been transcribed from a piece originally performed by computer, and recreated live, from memory [/grumble]

    I love to hear good drumming, but these types of videos leaves me cold. The same with enormously skilled guitar players like Malmsteen or Satriani - yes, they know they way around guitar, but often their music sounds like lots and lots of mechanical sounds just thrown together.

    I'll take any of the Buddy Rich videos from the 60's or 70's - the drummer than Neil Peart aspired to throughout his career.
