I have to agree with that one. He should be coupled up with the almost-as-characterless Yewande.

Whilst my missus watched Love Island last night, I got through an episode and a half of Gardeners World. Tonight, I've used the same 90 minutes to watch the Guy Martin D-Day programme.

I'm not sure who comes off worse?

Tommy - you bastard! That's definitely going to backfire on him.

I am regularly hearing of them and wives and family’s asking for help.

One old boy told us how the historical N.I. investigations had effected his mental health, added to that his son came back from serving abroad and killed himself last year.

What a burden he is carrying.

Contextually the reference was regarding the Jeremy Kyle show where one of the “guests” committed suicide and the show was taken off the air, yet two Love island contestants have done this and the show is continuing, it seems very inconsistent

My favourite for the boot is now Joe. Anton may be an utter bell-end but at least he's not a whiney, insecure, little bitch.

I'm not watching it per se but from what I have seen the female contestants this year are of a significantly lower standard than last year.

It's a current world real job. People are making anything from beer money to a decent living to multi-millions. As much as us oldies might not like it, it's a real job now.

A friend of mine has a 21 year old daughter who has a good full time job in finance but also makes money and receives free stuff by being a social influencer. She's currently on holiday in Ibiza and has been given clothes to wear and keep and all she has to do is post photos of her wearing them on Instagram.

Nice if you can get it.

Yewande is so dull she gets virtually zero air time. We'll see Madeleine McCann before we see Yewande again.

No surprise - was a little surprised at Lucie's choice though and once Amber chose Anton I guess Callum's time was up

It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so heavily scripted, the coupling choices are all made by the producers so in that choosing ep you always get a no mark like Callum or before Amber suddenly develop some relationship with the picker so there is some false tension when it comes to their pick. Lucie obviously prefers Tommy to Joe but then picks whiney childish Joe so they can all stay for the "drama" and they get rid of dull Callum. I watched the unseen bits ep and that is the best one, more natural and normal chat and not incessant producer scripted crap about who fancies who. Why bother with so much of that when we all know they are all there to make $$$ on Insta after so no need to pretend this is only a finding love show, not one couple lasted more than a few months last year.

And I just read she was going out with someone from Love Island last year.

People who are famous for being famous who lack any talent except the diligent pursuit of their own narcissism.
Unless they can attach themselves limpet like to a footballer or soap opera ‘actor’ they will be on the scrap heap soon enough after their 5 min is up.

Sadly that 5 min can last a year or two now as there are lots of these celeb dating, tattooing and God knows what else shows and if they can get on that merry go round then it lasts. Last year's Love Islander Georgia even appeared on BGT spin off this year just spouting her "loyal" catchphrase endlessly like a forced parrot, but that's probably made her a million or two by now, and she and Kylie are probably the top two role models for the Social Media generation of teenage girls.

I’ve heard this morning that he broke the ‘no single sex acts’ rule.

Surely you can’t get chucked out for chucking one out?

Suppose it depends on whether that's single-sex acts or single sex-acts. This thread's better than the program.

I don't think they all are but there are quite a large percentage who are, mainly female in my experience.

It's not just fat, it’s long too. I knew a bloke who worked on the security at the excel centre in London when they were filming there so he got to see Simon Cowell on a regular basis. He said in real life he was one third head and two thirds body.

Hahahaha it's definitely a huge head. He looks like he wears lifters in his shoes too. So if he had a normal sized head he'd be about 5ft 2

Perhaps Big Brother was pre-social media, I am hazy on the timelines? The pressure to create a fake life in social media was certainly less or non-existent. Perhaps the shows have becme more manipulative too as they get 'better' at what they do to introduce conflict and drama.

I really detest Love Island which I acknowledge is irrational on my part.
