Straight end oyster bracelet with a taper

To my great surprise i'm enjoying a new, to me, PRS-82 on the Strapcode oyster bracelet it came with. The only problem is that the bracelet does not taper and despite the good aesthetic that feels wrong.

No problem, i thought i'll find a plain straight end oyster with a flip lock clasp that tapers from 20 mm to somewhere between 18mm and 16mm. However I'm stuck, searches of; eBay, Amazon and the like reveal nothing. Am I looking in the wrong places or are these not made any more? I'm fairly sure they used to be.

The only potential candidate is this over confection but reviews aren't encouraging.

Here's one. 20>16mm, found during my search for a replacement for my 36mm Everest should Eddie not release one, although not suitable for me.

Try watchgecko in the discount code for 10% off. I think it works.

I had one of these https://www.thestrapshop.co.uk/colle...tch-bracelet-1 on a old Tag Heuer 2000 and it was really comfortable. (It probably still is, I gifted the watch on bracelet to my sister in law.)

That’s said, the Watchgecko clasp looks more robust.

Oh no! It has a divers extension when the one I have ordered hasn't

Have I ever used a divers extension, when I have had one, in the past? No.

Has there been and change in my situation that suggests that I might need one in future? No.

Is there any suggestion that the quality and aesthetics of this one, as a watch bracelet, is superior to the Gekota? No.

Is there still a nagging doubt that i have bought the right one? Of course there is.

    It really is a sickness

    LMAO!

    It is indeed an affliction!

Please post a photo when the bracelet arrives.

It arrived, it is far too weedy and it is going back. Convinces me that the big heavy Strapcode is the way to go with the PRS 82.

I'm surprised and, since i'm saving myself £40, delighted.

That's a shame, it looks quite substantial in the website pictures.
