I used to have a Magy watch with the exact same dial as that one, think same case too. Alot of those 60s divers seemed to share parts.

    Found a pic...

Just measured it thanks Raj, it's 36.4mm. without the crown.

Made me a bit self-conscious about the scruffy bracelet now, so will guiltily polish it.

I found a site that has hundreds of catalogues for US, Sears, etc. and these watches feature heavily from late 1960's-1970's, all very similar and most featured EB8021 or Timex with their own jewel-free offerings.
Tibac are were made in Switzerland by Gottlieb Weber.

Wearing the watch I managed to buy on a walk-in in Amsterdam on the day of the Champions League semi-final (oh what a day!). I'll certainly be wearing it again tomorrow and hoping for another Tottenham win. HAGWE!

Is it a silver cased version? Bulova or Elgin? I am guessing Elgin.

You're right it is Elgin. And it looks new because I bought it NOS a few years back.

Just that the strap was a bit worn from the design of the clasp so both were replaced and there was a small mark on the bezel so that was changed too. Whilst they were at it, they replace the middle case (not that there was anything noticeable) as they have improved the PVD coating and made it tougher and gave it a maintenance service too - pretty much a new watch now 👍

.....And that’s another reason why Zenith are my favourite brand, how many others would do that on a watch out of warranty? I’m wearing the Zenith Doublematic today.
