I use an old toothbrush. I clearly need to up my game!
If like me you like cleaning your watch whilst relaxing in the evening then boy do I have a treat for you!
I recently realised that ‘Lenspen’ devices usually used for cameras are excellent for cleaning watches. The brush is very soft and ideal for removing dust and debris. You can retract the brush almost all the way to make it a bit ‘tighter’ for giving the case back a bit of a gentle scrub. My watch is on a perlon so I can easily remove the strap to get in between the lugs.
Whilst I’m here I’ll also recommend ‘Town Talk’ microfibre cloths. They’re much softer and nicer to use than all the others I’ve used including the ones that come with some fairly expensive pieces.
Anyway just thought I’d let you know because I recently bought my dad a lenspen and he loves it. And I’ve got nothing else to do.
Cheers!

Yup use lenspens all the time! Cant beat a carbon tip
I have a Lenspen but using the brush side on my watch never ocurred - cheers for that!
Does this not make you froth at the mouth...
Cheers op. Am going to order a lenspen now!
just bought one from Amazon, thanks for the tip
As ever the Swiss have an equivalent which is probably exactly the same product but substantially more expensive.
I have one at work but hardly ever use it I must admit.
Cheers,
Gary
I’m talking about more of a gentle wipe and buff in front of the TV (do not take out of context!) rather than a proper intensive clean 🧼 🧽

Typical! Although I’d think twice before using the carbon dust tip on my watch - do they recommend it for anything in particular?
Or pop them into a thick woollen sock then into the washing machine with all your clothes 🤔.
Should smell nice too...
If its made in Canada its more than likely just a lenspen rebadged
When mine needs a proper clean I take it to the JetWash at the Shell Garage then take it home and tumble dry it
I just use these, work a treat!
