It took my order for the white dial.

A little concerned about readability of the hands, but I think overall it pips the black.

It was close but I chose white because:

    I don't have a white dialled chrono
I think the black minute track contrasts well with the bezel

Sorry to give you a busy fortnight Eddie, I hope you and the missus take some time to enjoy the very well earned fruits of your labour.

I didn’t buy in the end, thickness was a worry. I look forward to the hands on and maybe another time I’ll try and snag from the flippers!

It looks like 3 more white dials were sold than I have stock. This can happen when a few people have the same item in their shopping basket but haven't get completed the order. The shopping basket doesn't delete stock until the order is completed. To clarify, if there are 10 items available and nobody has completed their order, the shopping basket still shows 10 items available even though 20 people might have the item in their basket. If it's in the basket, it will allow the order to be completed.

    "Launch of Smiths Vanguard PRS-32

The Smiths Vanguard was launched at 1500 hrs (UK time) on 26 May 2019; 17 minutes later the white dial version was sold out and only a few of the black dial version remain. Time Factors will now be closed until all these orders have been shipped, which could be as long as 2 weeks.

Congrats on the successful launch of the vanguard .
I guess to sort out the 3 extra sold you will cancel the last 3 order “by time stamp “?

Hope I still get mine .
And thanks for setting the launch time in the afternoon .

Thanks Eddie, for this opportunity to own a new collectible. I set my alarm this morning for 6:45 a.m. but was wide awake well before that! Congrats on a great success.

Mixed feelings here. Stoked that Eddie has sold out. Bummed that I was sat in a cinema auditorium unable to access the internet. Well done to all that have picked up a solid looking chronograph.

I too preferred the black Tony, but unfortunately wasn’t able to be in place at 3pm to place an order due to a family event. I have to say, I didn’t expect them to sell so quickly so a very successful launch for Eddie.

Looks like Time Factors will reopen in about fortnight, and I bet those remaining few black dialled versions go in minutes.

    Very nicely done, Eddie.

I haven't bought a watch, or anything for that matter as I was undergoing more work on my own ticker last Tuesday. Wife wouldn't even buy a car pre op!
I was worried this was to be released last Tuesday as it would have been a no from me, so a release today was great timing.
We are enjoying a holiday with my son up in Wylam, five to three saw three of us ready to buy a white one on mobile phones.
I think my son succeeded where we failed on two devices. Hopefully Eddie receives the email redirecting delivery to me!
Now time to buy that car and other stuff we have put off.

Launch of the Smiths Vanguard PRS-32

This was a bit of a worry- taking my Mum out for the day and visiting Dyrham Park with no mobile signal of note. It started raining so went to pub for late lunch and with a decent 4G signal on the phone, I was just in time for 3pm ordering and managed to order a white dial by 15:03 - job done!

Congratulations to Eddie for a successful launch!

Managed to snag a white dialled one at 15:03

I always preferred the white dial until the last couple of days when I started flip flopping on which to order. Went with my gut and I think it was the right decision.

Been following the developments on this one since it was announced and can’t wait to see it in the metal!

Thanks Eddie for your hard work on this one and a really well earned successful launch.

I was with wifey in Monaco and I told her all about this watch, the Newman one that sold for silly $millions and she said it was either tix for the race or a white one... in the end we got one of each at 16.05 so we can wear them together! We bought them as we watched the race in a bar with a few drinks (that helped) each and some lunch, job done, happy bunny!
Thank you Eddie for producing a great watch at a great price point.

Hopefully will be able to get a black dialed one when the shop next opens. I had one in my cart and got distracted and forgot all about it.
The specs and the pics are just right.

    Eddie,
I know you are busy preparing shipments. Just a question, what is the clasp width? I'm debating picking up a standard fliplock clasp to put on the bracelet....Is it a straight 20mm bracelet or does it taper to 16 or 18mm?

    Eddie,

Why are you wasting valuable time answering foolish, inane questions when you have more than 90 watches to ship?!!! Please ignore those questions, and even this post!

Just a black leather strap will look good, but I am sure there is a bund lurking in the bottom of my strap box.

I am going to try mine on a generic tapered oyster style one currently fitted to my Everest.

The original bracelet looks pretty much identical to the one fitted to the Everest so I am guessing that the solid end links will be similarly compatible.

I'm thinking a black leather strap will look great as well....something with minimal stitch. Or even a black rally strap.

I'm actually looking for that kind of clasp to try out.

I tried to get a black and white strap made so it would suit either version. I got two samples back which looked nothing like my drawing and it was too late to try again by then.

Its arrived, was expecting notification beforehand but obviously Eddie is focusing on getting em out the door! I ordered on my phone and thought I had ordered a white dial, obviously I got it wrong and ordered a black dial. It is still lovely and the minute track red on white has much better visibility.

    Its not true without pictures;

Sorry about the crap I-phone pictures but snatched a few - not even taken stickers off it.
