To keep it period you obviously want a vintage clasp which will need to be sourced from a reliable place i.e. not some crap off eBay unless you are utterly sure it's genuine.
I'm pretty sure Rolex will only supply an entire new bracelet and won't do the clasp on its own. This may be the best route if you intend wearing the watch long-term as the bracelet is the part that wears and stretches.
Well....whilst it will horrify the purists if you want something wearable whilst searching for an original, then there are good substitute clasps available on eBay. I did this with my 5513 as the original clasp had a habit of unlocking involuntarily.
This meant I had a wearable watch, which to me was the main objective.
I can try to dig out the name of the seller that I used if this might be of interest?
Must admit to doing a similar thing with a Rolex Oyster Precision, the original bracelet although serviceable didn't feel safe so sourced one from ebay. Not the perfect result for a perfectionist perhaps, but it allows me to wear it and I still have the original bracelet which isn't seeing any more wear.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
