I’ve not seen this one before. Looks absolutely great. A late 70s TV styled SM?

Bracelet is nice too. Like a King Midas.

How much can you get one of these for?

You've never tried bananabread beer?!? Best beer ever made. I've been drinking ale for years and has always been my favourite, not so keen on the new bottle design though.

Early 70s, probably 1974. It's a rare mirror dial megaquartz. They hardly ever come up for sale, I purchased this one knackered and had it refurbished. Posted a thread on it here https://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.p...ght=megaquartz

As for cost, with buying the watch and having the service/refurb I paid best part of £1k. The watch isn't worth that TBH, but it is to me(if that makes sense).

Then you can't go wrong! Pretty widely available, once you've got the taste there is no going back.

Cracking Omega and great restoration story.

I really need to venture outside of watchtalk now and again. Just when I think I've tried them all there are always new ales surfacing. Such good times to be an ale drinker, I got into it in the 90s after getting tired of always being bloated by lager and it was so old mannish back then with very little choice. Will be wading through that thread for sure.

As a side note, I used to be a brewer for Exmoor Ales, kind of miss it.

Have you thought about maybe brewing your own with your experience, that would be an interesting read.

Yes often, and have done in the past. But my wife hates the stink and I don't have any space for an outhouse/shed.
