What a beautiful job they made - the corrosion around the rear bulkhead was surprising.

Interesting to see that complete repair panels are available, with the pressed strengthening areas.

Note to self - buy the zinc plating and passivate kit you have been promising yourself for so long :)

It obviously takes terrific vision, skill and application to carry out a project as such.
And a pocket full of dosh, of course!
    Great to see!

Interesting. Some of the photos were a bit random, but no doubt they saved the car and created something lovely.

Perhaps its passion like this which means that 70% of all porsche 911/12 ever made still survive.

Very nice, McQueen inspired Slate Grey too. Lots of time / money gone into that and another one saved which is the main thing. He should have kept the original (battered) nose badge though :)

I have a 997.1CS and hankering after a 911SC but prices are sub £40k now for anything that runs. Scratching an itch with a 944S2 that I bought last June for peanuts which is awesome fun and easy to work on and modify. Just upgraded the suspension with Bilstein B6 all around and mid-way through replacing the bushes.

Surely it would have taken less than 10 minutes to just stick a Ruf badge on the back of it? :-)
