I've just been told I'm up to 3 from 6 on the waiting list and David Robinson's are getting 1 a month in.

I'm really pleased I stuck by the wait. It is a lovely thing to wear.

In fact (and I did wonder this before), I suspect I'll let my Harrods go in the next week or two. I've only worn that once and already the 58 feels like the one I'd prefer to wear in rotation with the GMT

Picked mine up today. They removed all the stickers before I could leave with it. Gorgeous watch and fits my tiny wrist perfectly!

Why would you not want the stickers removed?

I always make sure the back sticker is left on
    It simply reduces potential scratches

I got a letter today saying the 58 I ordered has gone up in price from £2600 to £2720.
    I still want it though

Is that an increase on RRP, or is the AD just price gouging?
I just checked Tudors website and its still at £2600 on bracelet?

They are an AD so I doubt they'd charge above RRP so I would guess this is an RRP increase.

    Thanks.
I ordered a 1926 for my missus too but the price hasn't altered.

Sorry to jump on my thread with a slightly different subject.

Any current owners of the BB58 find their model marks/ scratches easily? I've had mine since June clasp as a lot of desk diving marks, can live with that & one pram folding incident! But have also managed to mark the brushed parks of the lugs, once against a desk and another door knock - annoyingly. Now noticed a small dink near the polished section of the lug no idea where this came from.

Guess it's the nature of the beast and how I wear my watches (generally long sleeves rolled up) and this is part of the ownership - 'the first cut is the deepest'.

I know I can get it all polished and looking new upon service, just thought it'd would hold up better (fully expect it to be beat up after a few years & looking forward to this).

Just wanted to get other owners experiences.

    Thanks Brad

Ernest Jones Stratford Westfields has 2 in stock as of this morning 930am. Also Cheapside has 2 instock. I was in my local EJ who are not Tudor stockists this morning ordering a strap for a watch and asked them if they can get one in for me. They said I had to go to the actual store or call them before you go to reserve it.

I've had mind almost a year and I've notice that the clasp as a lot more desk diving marks than I would have expected. Especially compared to some of my other watches (a Exp II for example) which I've owned for years and it doesn't have as many marks.
I've had no issue with the rest of the case / bracelet, seems pretty durable.

Got the call today, and I’m going to pick it up Sunday! Can’t wait. I think I put my name on their waitlist about 2 months ago. 👍🏻

Honestly? No. I wear mine a lot, maybe 3 times a week for the 3 months or so I’ve had it and it’s holding up very well.

I should say that I’m basically retired though, so no actual desk diving or even ‘work’ to beat it up with

Got mine from Harrods after about 2 months or so .. didn't think it's gonna be that quick tbh, but seems like they are getting more stock for sure

  18. #118
Got mine although now sold within a few days of phoning around and then offered 3 within the space of a week so they are out there.

    Hi Brad
I have worn mine for just over a year on a regular basis, in fact it has become the one that I wear to work.
During this time it has received numerous knocks/marks/dings (as I recently changed jobs, which involves more manual work).
I love seeing the marks on the case, though I don't intentionally go out to abuse it, at the same time I don't mind if it does get marked. To me this is what the watch was designed for :-)
I have managed to secure all the straps that come with the watch, but as this piece will be passed down to one of my Grandsons, I what them to be able to choose which strap they wish to use, so I don't them abused. So mine is fitted on one of Steveo's Para straps, which pretty much indestructible and to me is a fitting partner for the BB58.
    Cheers
    Tony

Mine is excellent; typically less that -0.5s/day ...

I recently been enquiring about the same thing and been quoted £175, Omega retail theirs at £130 and feel smoother and softer, Tudor's feel more rough but love the video showuing how they are still produced.

Think mine gains roughly 5 -10 secs every 10-14 days.

I put my name down on the list recently and 3 weeks later got a call. Couldn't believe it as when I went into the store, the list was several pages long!

I managed to pick one up yesterday on a bracelet from a walk in to an AD that I have some purchase history with.
Must admit it was a bit of a spur of the moment purchase as it was there & available. I got a Longines not to long ago so spent more than I should have on watches recently.

I’ve decided to sell the BB58 that I brought and it’s now listed in the SC here. Basically brand new and available at list price or very nearest offer

I was just offered one on the leather in central London EC area. 30 people on the list for the bracelet version but a sealed one ready to on leather. If anyone wants to know where PM me and I'll reply as I heard them tell a walk in they didn't have any while I was trying it on!

Just got a call from my local AD in Leamington Spa that they have a 58 on bracelet ready for me.

Due to several reasons I will probably pass on the opportunity so if anybody might be interested please PM me and I think we can work this out.

I’ve had mine on over the weekend and enjoying the watch more and more. Just got to figure out how many links I need in the bracelet. Had one taken out and it felt to loose, had another taken out and the adjustment made on the clasp and it’s now abit to tight.

I’m a fan of the raised glass on it too, glad I’m keeping this now!

I think someone mentioned here that it marks easily? Well it’s my second full day of wearing it and it has marked on the case by the 2’o clock area.
I have been super careful, not hit it anywhere there etc and it’s got a tiny mark. Least it’s done and out the way now I guess

My wrist is 7inches and I had the same issue. My clasp is away getting an extra hole put in to remedy this.
